Her "Missing" series are a huge success. The first book, "Girl, Missing" is one of my favourites. I hugely recommend that and the sequel "Sister, Missing" to readers who love mystery, excitement and friendships.
The Medusa series is also very popular. They are about a group of children with a special gene which enables them to have a special power. Sci - fi books are not normally my favourite, but I was pleasantly surprised with this series. The teenage main characters are very realistic and have to deal with many thrilling problems.
A trilogy which I was recently introduced to was the "Luke and Eve" trilogy. The first book in the series "6 Steps to a Girl" is brilliant. It is about a teenager named Luke dealing with the recent death of his father. However, he finds love. Unfortunately, his new crush is on the most popular, beautiful girl in school. Plus, she already has a boyfriend. The trilogy is all about his journey to being Eve's boyfriend, and then the troubles that they face together. I am in love with these books, I couldn't tear myself away from them until I had read every word.
Sophie Mckenzie is obviously a very talented author, and I would like to say thank you to her for giving us readers such amazing books. She is inspirational, and I hope one day that I can be as brilliant a writer as she is.
